Fashion has always been about having fun for me—and sometimes that means breaking a few “rules.” I love to wear what makes me happy and feel confident and I try to inspire everyone to do the same! From color to texture to prints, I’m proving that true style doesn’t come from following the rules—it comes from feeling confident in what you wear.
1. Light Nails in Fall and Winter? Yes, Please.
Who said fall nails have to be burgundy or brown? While I also love seasonal nail colors Lisbon Wants Moor is one of my favorite nail shades of all time & I wear it year round! It is the perfect white-pink. This color pairs perfectly with cozy knits and rich textures, and it never goes out of style.

2. White After Labor Day Is Here to Stay
Gone are the days when wearing white past Labor Day was a no go. I love to wear winter whites. They are effortlessly chic—from ivory sweaters to crisp white denim and cozy coats. Paired with camel, taupe, or gray, white adds a sense of understated luxury to any cold-weather look. The new rule? Wear what feels good, no matter what the calendar says.
3. Bright Colors Aren’t Just for Spring
I love wearing bright colors in the fall. I love to mix light colors in the middle of fall. Pairing your bright pieces with boots/ warmer fabrics like denim, wool, or tweed creates balance and keeps your options much more versatile.
4. Mixing Prints
Stripes and florals? Plaid and polka dots? Absolutely. Loverly Grey is all about blending prints with intention. The trick is balance—pair patterns that share a common color palette or mix one bold print with a subtler one. It’s an easy way to add depth and personality to your look while showing off your creative side.

5. Black and Brown: A Timeless Combo
For years, people said you couldn’t wear black and brown together—but I couldn’t disagree more! These two neutrals actually look so chic side by side. I love pairing a black turtleneck with a brown suede skirt or layering a camel coat over a little black dress. It’s such a warm, modern combo that always feels effortlessly sophisticated.
6. Casual Can Absolutely Be Chic
Whether it’s sneakers with a midi dress or joggers paired with a structured blazer, I love finding ways to make casual feel chic. For me, it’s all about mixing comfort with confidence. Simple, elevated pieces and the right accessories can make any everyday look feel polished—without trying too hard. Because real style isn’t about giving up comfort, it’s about making it look intentional.
7. You Can’t Mix Highs & Lows
Designer pieces are always fun to add in, but I’ve learned that great style isn’t about wearing all high-end everything. I love mixing those special investment pieces with more affordable finds—it keeps my wardrobe interesting and wearable. A designer bag with a Target dress or vintage denim? So chic, perfectly balanced, and totally me. Mixing highs and lows makes fashion feel effortless and personal.
The Bottom Line…
Fashion rules are meant to be broken, right? This season, I’m all about wearing what makes me feel good and leaving those “dos and don’ts” behind. Light nails in winter, white after Labor Day, mixing prints—I’m here for it all. Because at the end of the day, confidence never goes out of style.
