Brittany started Loverly Grey by sharing outfit photos on Instagram, and by April of 2016, she officially launched the blog.
December2017
First Hire, Big Moves
After a year of solo hustle, Brittany hired her first full-time employee, Anna — finally getting the support she needed to grow.
February2018
100K Milestone
Brittany hit 100K followers on Instagram! Growing organically back then was no small feat, so this felt like a huge victory.
May2019
The Management Boost
Brittany brought on a management team to lead negotiations and strategy — this move truly elevated the business.
January 2020
Chris Joins the Team
Chris officially joined full-time! They moved back to Athens and fully committed to growing the brand together.
March2021
Nichelle and New Horizons
Nichelle joined the team, and with her experience, they reimagined the strategy and set their sights on big goals.
June2021
Office House Vibes
Brittany and Chris bought their first official office — no more working from the kitchen island! It gave the team space to collaborate and grow.
September2021
Life with Loverly Podcast is Born
The Life with Loverly podcast was born! Brittany launched the show to connect more personally and share meaningful conversations with the Loverly Grey community.

Team Expansion
Brittany hired two more team members to keep up with the growth and bring more ideas to life.

Another Full-Timer
The momentum continued, and the team brought on another full-time employee to help support the growing brand.
August2022
1 Million Followers Celebration
Brittany reached 1 million followers on Instagram and celebrated this incredible milestone with an epic party surrounded by family and friends!
February2023
The New Office Space & Birdie & Co Studio
The team moved into a bigger space with room for more employees, a podcast studio, and Birdie & Co – an in-house photography studio.
March2024
The team expands to 10+ employees!
The team expanded to 10+ full-time members – a group of creative and committed employees supporting the brand’s vision.

Life With Loverly Upgrade & Consulting Launch
Life with Loverly is leveling up! Brittany and the team are officially launching consulting services and upgrading the brand to bring even more value to this community.

Brittany Sjogren
Founder/Visionary
Brittany founded Loverly Grey in 2016 after working as an Account Manager at Insight Global. She’s passionate about reading, working out, shopping, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Chris Sjogren
President
Chris joined Loverly Grey in 2020 after serving as a Senior Program Manager at Insight Global. He’s an avid runner and golfer who enjoys family time, concerts, games, and traveling.
Kristen Murray
Vice President of Operations
Kristen joined Loverly Grey in 2025, bringing 12 years of experience in marketing, including influencer, social media, email, and digital marketing. She loves reading, keeping up with pop culture and spending time with her husband, Ross, and their son, Haynes.
Ellie Murray
Brand Content Manager
Ellie joined Loverly Grey in June 2022 with experience in social media management and marketing coordination. In her free time, she enjoys watching scary movies, sewing, and shopping for her next great find.
Cat Hires
Manager of Culture & Communication
Cat started at Loverly Grey in October 2022, bringing experience as the Director of Operations for UGA Gymnastics. She loves reading, boating, and hanging out with her puppy, Tucker.
Gabriella Hart
Digital Media Specialist
With a background in marketing for local small businesses and brands, Gabriella joined Loverly Grey in April 2024. She loves staying active with barre, paddleboarding, playing tennis, and expressing her creativity through painting and drawing.
Meg Chandler
Digital Media Specialist
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Meg joined the team in June 2024. With experience interning for an influencer management agency, she loves reading, yoga, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Finn.
Nina Genovese
Digital Media Specialist
Nina started Loverly Grey in January 2024 with experience in fashion and digital marketing. In her free time, she loves trying new recipes to cook for her friends and family. She also enjoys travelling internationally and exploring new countries, going on runs to stay active, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
Claire Thoms
Digital Media Lead
Claire, who joined in February 2024, has a background in interior design, having worked at an architecture firm after graduating from Mississippi State. She enjoys working out, going on walks, reading, and playing with her dog, Wrigley.
Emily Bachelor
Executive Assistant
Emily joined Loverly Grey in July 2024 after teaching history and coaching cheerleading. She enjoys snuggling up with a good book and coffee, traveling to tropical destinations, and hosting game nights.
Evie Barnes
Brand Partnership Coordinator
Evie is a 2025 graduate from the University of Georgia where she majored in Public Relations. She joined the Loverly Grey team in February 2024. Evie spends her free time baking, traveling, and playing golf.
Ansley Taubert
Digital Media Specialist
Ansley joined the Loverly Grey team in March 2025 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and experience in social media and content creation. She has a lifelong love for fashion, beauty, and her faith. Outside of work, she’s all about thrifting, spending time with her wiener dog Oscar, and cheering on the Dawgs during football season.
Olivia Williams
Digital Media Specialist
Olivia joined Loverly Grey in February 2025 after studying Public Relations at UGA. In her free time, she loves grabbing an iced coffee with friends, hot yoga, thrifting, and trying out new recipes.

At Loverly Grey HQ, we’re not just passionate about storytelling and content—we’re also head over heels for our furry, four-legged friends!
