For workout, she’s been getting back into running and also loves to mix in pilates, walks and weight lifting. She usually does two days of each per week, and right now, her goal is to be able to run four miles.
  • Biggest Diet Change She Has Made Recently!The biggest change Olivia has made lately is re-incorporatingbreakfast. She was previously intermittent fasting with Keto for a while and had completely cut out breakfast, which was not helpful for a healthy relationship with food. But since adding back breakfast, her hormones are more balanced, she doesn’t crash in the afternoons anymore, and she isn’t scared of carbs!
  • The Healing Power of Food: Olivia’s journey with food was born out of necessity. After years of battling acne and trying countless medications, Olivia started experimenting with her diet. By eliminating gluten, dairy, and refined sugar, she noticed not only an improvement in her skin but also less brain fog, more energy, and better digestion. This transformation sparked her passion for creating recipes that are both healthy and delicious.

  • Flavor Without Compromise: A common struggle when it comes to making healthy food is that it tends to lack flavor. Olivia emphasizes that fresh, high-quality ingredients can make all the difference in a dish (think of a beautiful meal you’ve had in Italy or Greece – simple and healthy, but full of flavor thanks to fresh ingredients!) Olivia also shares some of her favorite tips for packing in the flavor, including adding sun-dried tomatoes or jarred roasted red bell peppers for an extra punch.

  • Perfecting Recipes: The process of developing recipes is no small feat (it took her seven rounds of testing to perfect her banana bread!). Much like how Brittany puts together an outfit is how Olivia builds a recipe. She takes her recipe testing seriously, with each dish going through multiple rounds of tweaks and adjustments before it’s ready to be shared with her audience. Her dedication ensures that her recipes are foolproof and that time and ingredients are never wasted!

  • The Dynamics of a Creative Partnership: Olivia and her husband, Kyle, have found their rhythm in working together by learning to divide responsibilities and play to their strengths. Now, they each own separate spheres of the business, allowing them to collaborate effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance—sometimes with the help of a glass of champagne, but hey – that’s never a bad idea, right?

  • Best and Worst Kitchen Appliances:Without a doubt, Olivia’s favorite kitchen appliance is her Vitamix (and we’d have to agree). It’s versatile and powerful and is practically perfect in every way. Oh and her least used appliance? That would be the classic stand mixer we ALWAYS register for and usually just ends up taking up valuable real estate on our counters (can we all make a pact to use ours this fall for some delicious fall baking?)
